I feel like every piece of software I’ve interacted with today has plagued me with requests to try their AI features. I wish there was a “f$@k all the way off” option, instead of just “no thanks”.

Reading a romance series is great because I get to stay in the world longer - except for the part where I finish the last book in the series and have to figure out what to read next.

An older family member asked me curiously last night if I ever use AI in my writing. Safe to say, they were unprepared for my ensuing monologue about theft of copyrighted works, destruction of ecosystems, and how machines only poorly mimic human thoughts and feelings, in which all art is rooted.

Just impossible to juggle family responsibilities w/ author/book tasks this yr. I’m so sad that my upcoming book is just limping toward the finish line while I have zero time to devote to marketing it right now. I edited a good 13 chapters on this book before the holidays but I had to let it sit too long. Finally caved and made the decision to start from scratch yesterday. Had to be done but I’m not happy about it.
