🔥Commissions Open🔥 Kansas City based freelance Illustrator I love drawing monsters, armor, D&D characters, the works! https://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.socialhttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mwlhammmjc2bWith so many people having seen Minus Zero, I’m going to have to go on full blackout to avoid any spoilers for the next month. Now here’s hoping Toho doesn’t go dropping pictures of unrevealed character toys before a majority of us have seen it.28 Sep 2026 13:47 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwlhammmjc2bhttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mwhyss3zik2fMan, once I’m not in a state of being overwhelmed out the wazoo, I gotta make some Digimon Beatbreak fanart because holy heck what a season! I’m going to miss Glowing Dawn so much!!! 😭27 Sep 2026 04:50 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwhyss3zik2fhttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3muzdwmklbk2aNot watching the Godzilla Minus Zero trailer because I’m still aiming to go in as blind as possible, but some details can’t be avoided. Either way, excited for the movie and still aiming to steer free of any new footage until release!08 Sep 2026 15:34 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3muzdwmklbk2ahttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mukjoo7lls2dI started this traditional painting months ago and had to put it down to work on other projects. I’m having a fun time exploring making art outside of a digital space, and it’s also just so satisfying!02 Sep 2026 18:07 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mukjoo7lls2dhttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3muiwbpykic2jPlaying catch up on Digimon Beatbreak and this show out here making me sob like this. I’m gonna be so bummed when it’s over because goddamn, it’s been a minute since a Digimon show hit this hard. 😭😭😭02 Sep 2026 02:47 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3muiwbpykic2jhttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mufi5ei7qc23So glad we got to see the life size Unicorn Gundam outside of Diver City when we went to Japan a couple of years ago. Hearing that yesterday was the last day of the exhibit was a bit sad, as this was one of the first sights we encountered for our first night in Tokyo.31 Aug 2026 17:56 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mufi5ei7qc23https://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mu4jtxgcas23The remastered models for Destroy All Monsters Melee look great, although the beam effects leave a lot to be desired. It would be nice if they were able to get them to look more accurate, or at least have the right colors.28 Aug 2026 04:33 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mu4jtxgcas23https://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mtpz4p2dlc2iCaught The End of Oak Street tonight and it was SO good! Definitely worth checking out and it’s also just refreshing to see a Dino movie that doesn’t have “Jurassic” in the title!23 Aug 2026 05:02 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mtpz4p2dlc2ihttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mtlyve2vxs2pLate to the party, but started watching the original Gundam after my fiancé showed me War in the Pocket. So far, I’m loving what I’m seeing!21 Aug 2026 14:47 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mtlyve2vxs2phttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mshsrs5sm22kI’ve honestly been so burned out on Marvel for the last few years, but Spider-Man Brand New Day slapped! I’ll always have a soft spot for Spidey, but letting him finally have a movie that feels focused on his internal struggles was a much needed return to form!07 Aug 2026 05:22 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mshsrs5sm22khttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3msbuwwrogs2wForgot to share this, but I had the chance to contribute to the outside of one of my favorite local stores in downtown Lawrence, 1313 Mockingbird Lane! They sell a ton of vintage and collectible stuff here and have been my go-to store for Godzilla stuff. So I painted this Mechagodzilla for them!04 Aug 2026 20:44 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3msbuwwrogs2whttps://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mrbiv7gdik27We caught Nolan’s The Odyssey last night and I gotta say I very much enjoyed it! A visual feast with a wonderful hand made feel and the music wasn’t drowning out the dialogue!22 Jul 2026 23:43 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mrbiv7gdik27https://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mpqzwvbcbs23Remember that Gamera comic I did for the Gamera The Great fanzine years ago? Well, I decided to give it a cover and touch up the colors and writing and make it an individual fanzine for a local zine festival! It’s been a lot of fun revisiting this comic!03 Jul 2026 17:08 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mpqzwvbcbs23https://bsky.app/profile/alcanterdraws.bsky.social/post/3mp357lbfp224We caught Disclosure Day last night and I had no idea that a majority of it took place in Kansas City. Unfortunately, I spent every moment scrutinizing it because they clearly shot it in some other city that looks NOTHING like Kansas City. 😭25 Jun 2026 00:08 +0000at://did:plc:osywcbivbmzoszzn523usr5n/app.bsky.feed.post/3mp357lbfp224
