I picked up a Lamy AL-Star over the summer and liked it. Just upgraded to a Lamy Studio and holy wow was it the right choice. I’m sure I’ll upgrade to something with a gold nib eventually, but for now, I’m a very happy boy.30 Oct 2026 16:44 +0000at://did:plc:plh6lmrna7vbyuhcpposnqa2/app.bsky.feed.post/3mz4a2lxicc2qhttps://bsky.app/profile/kwmathias.bsky.social/post/3myg6mzl7ms2nSomething I did not truly comprehend until I became a union leader: This shit is haaaaaaaard. This is not a pity party post. This is an appreciation post for every labor organizer and union rep and shop steward and president out there. We don’t do it because it’s easy. We do it because we must.21 Oct 2026 22:20 +0000at://did:plc:plh6lmrna7vbyuhcpposnqa2/app.bsky.feed.post/3myg6mzl7ms2nhttps://bsky.app/profile/kwmathias.bsky.social/post/3mwysrladdk2lI’m putzing around the house with Power to the People Fest streaming on TV. I know this is a very small thing, but I’m really glad so many people around the country/world get to see how beautiful Merriweather is. Glorious venue basically in my back yard.03 Oct 2026 21:18 +0000at://did:plc:plh6lmrna7vbyuhcpposnqa2/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwysrladdk2lhttps://bsky.app/profile/kwmathias.bsky.social/post/3mwbqeh254s26"fine intellectual dexterity" is not something I'm okay with losing, thanks [contains quote post or other embedded content]24 Sep 2026 17:03 +0000at://did:plc:plh6lmrna7vbyuhcpposnqa2/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwbqeh254s26https://bsky.app/profile/kwmathias.bsky.social/post/3mw4rgv3ozc2bShredding every "reason" NCTE gave to support its decision to de-charter CCCC, this is a clear call for writing studies to find a different path forward. Got #4C27 acceptance today and am planning on going on one last ride with this conference because I've got some stuff to say. If we've been mutuals for a while and haven't met yet, this is a great time to change that.15 Sep 2026 18:36 +0000at://did:plc:plh6lmrna7vbyuhcpposnqa2/app.bsky.feed.post/3mvlbejca7k2hhttps://bsky.app/profile/kwmathias.bsky.social/post/3mv4l6mpm3k2lReverse Lysistrata isn't a thing and will never be a thing. Shout out to @joshuabarsczewski.bsky.social and @timothyoleksiak.bsky.social for putting together one heck of a collection.03 Sep 2026 17:02 +0000at://did:plc:plh6lmrna7vbyuhcpposnqa2/app.bsky.feed.post/3mumwixkl4k2qhttps://bsky.app/profile/kwmathias.bsky.social/post/3mrgbrjovsk2fI am positively shook.
