This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Yeah, I have embedded the LiteHTML library in some code before, which just does HTML & basic CSS, and it barely touches the RAM. If I were to add even a simple JS lib like Ducktape to it, it'd blow out resource use, even without the fancy JIT, super-charged JS runtimes Chrome etc. use.
