I just finished working on two brand new voice packs for my shop: 20 Affirmations and 20 Sleep Aid audio clips - This also marks the grand opening of my shop and I'm super excited to share this with you all, I hope you enjoy! If everything goes well, I am hoping that it will enable me to edit more efficiently so I can get my backlog of scripts cleared, so my recording schedule can be lighter.04 Apr 2025 14:30 +0000at://did:plc:tbujoa352vdvsr27kogs2lie/app.bsky.feed.post/3llymwezglm2ihttps://bsky.app/profile/ignariuspyrhart.bsky.social/post/3llyhykn7zl27I posted a silly little script about it a while back, but I am genuinely so happy to have reached 100 subs on YouTube. I know its a cliché thing to say, but it really does give me hope for the future and reassurance that there could be fruit to bare from the work I am putting in now.04 Apr 2025 13:01 +0000at://did:plc:tbujoa352vdvsr27kogs2lie/app.bsky.feed.post/3llyhykn7zl27https://bsky.app/profile/ignariuspyrhart.bsky.social/post/3llwi7qp4hr27The right software seems to make all the difference. I've switched the program I use to edit my videos and it has absolutely made a world of difference. Long gone are the days of recording audio in OBS and slapping the mp4 into Filmora.03 Apr 2025 18:00 +0000at://did:plc:tbujoa352vdvsr27kogs2lie/app.bsky.feed.post/3llwi7qp4hr27https://bsky.app/profile/ignariuspyrhart.bsky.social/post/3llw4hr7pgv2fWhen I first started looking into voice acting I knew there was going to be some difficulties settling in. I didn't expect for one of the bigger challenges to just be where to hold my mic so it doesn't sound like I'm inhaling it during my recording sessions.03 Apr 2025 14:30 +0000at://did:plc:tbujoa352vdvsr27kogs2lie/app.bsky.feed.post/3llw4hr7pgv2fhttps://bsky.app/profile/ignariuspyrhart.bsky.social/post/3llvxmnyhy52sI've been thinking a lot about my goals in order to give myself things to work towards. Within the year, I'd like to say I was able to take place in at least one project outside of my YT channel for voice acting. What is something you're all working towards?03 Apr 2025 13:03 +0000at://did:plc:tbujoa352vdvsr27kogs2lie/app.bsky.feed.post/3llvxmnyhy52shttps://bsky.app/profile/ignariuspyrhart.bsky.social/post/3lljf5h3vpb25Trying to explain voice acting to non-VAs: Them: ‘So you just… Make random noises into a mic?’ Me: ‘Yes. But also no. But also… it’s complicated.’ 🎙️ What’s the weirdest reaction you’ve gotten when you tell people you’re a VA? #VoiceActing #VAstruggles #ExplainingMyJob29 Mar 2025 13:00 +0000at://did:plc:tbujoa352vdvsr27kogs2lie/app.bsky.feed.post/3lljf5h3vpb25https://bsky.app/profile/ignariuspyrhart.bsky.social/post/3llhfhrnbf627VA problem: Someone asks what your ‘normal voice’ sounds like. Me: Flashbacks as I try to remember the last time I spoke in anything but a Customer Service or character voice. Tell me you’re a voice actor without telling me you’re a voice actor.
