So, my theory is that Trump can’t recover once he’s been punched in the nose. Now that he’s in a spiral, he can only double down on crazy or slink away quietly (both of which he seems to be doing). Unlike a real politician, he can’t recalibrate and course correct. If so, could be a total wipeout.
