ホンダの新型プレリュードのエンジン、2L直噴なのに141馬力、と聞いてちょっと違和感があったんですが(ウチのジェイド君ですら1.5L直噴で131馬力出てるので)、なるほど、圧縮比が13.9もある、ということはフツーにアトキンソンサイクル運用なんですね(ちなみにジェイド君の圧縮比は11.5なのでほぼオットーサイクルなはず)。原則発電用エンジンならもはや常識か。
