本の流通を司る問屋である「取次」、社員が数名しかいないような小さな出版社でも書店に本を並べることができたのは彼らの存在が大きかったように思うけれど、その取次が潰れてしまったときに出版される本の多様性を維持していくのはどのような仕組みなのだろうか？再販制度しかり、もともと「本」を取り巻く仕組み、制度にはそういった「制度的にいかにして多様な意見、文化を維持するか？」といった視点があったように思うが、昨今そういった考え方があまり振り返られていない気もして心配。
