One note: Local news checked up on a claim in the suit that the defendants had schemed on AFBC's demise at another local brewery, Afterglow, and its owner, upset, contacted AFBC's CEO Alan Beal to warn him. Afterglow's owner said the meetings never happened, and he never contacted Beal about them.
