Here are RI percentages of all 24-hour periods for TCs that lasted at least 48 hours (2 days) computed over 30-year time frames.
Second plot repeats the first but omits 30 kt to zoom in on the other thresholds.
I chose to start in 1966 based on reanalysis efforts & availability of satellite data.
