OpenAI has promised to build 3GW of data centers - costing about $50 billion and take 2.5 years to build - *by the end of 2026*. Worse still, AMD, Broadcom and NVIDIA want to fill them full of yet-to-be-released chips, making all of this so utterly impossible.
