ALPRs' threat to privacy and safety can’t be solved by city protocols, EFF's @adamdschwartz.bsky.social told @mercurynews.com. “At minimum, officers should be required to get a warrant issued by a judge before searching the stored location data. Even better, cities should not use ALPRs at all.”
