This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

we struggled to get it to work with reqwest and sqlx, possibly some other crates we were using too. standalone it made sense, but everything else we depend on supports native-tls :/
