This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

i have messed with the social-app/bsky app codebase before and it *sucks* to work with; there are certain dependencies that require specific versions of build tools, it can be organized somewhat weirdly, and (i'm guessing because it's RN instead of regular react) there's too many wrapper elements
