Having just got over "hope you get better soon" (I won't), I've hit another new frustrating kidney platitude - this time from other dialysis patients. The new one is "hope you get a transplant soon" or "it's coming" etc. Nope - I can't have a transplant. I'm a dialysis lifer. Deeply frustrating.
