Canada made some changes to their laws, and I just found out that I am a Canadian citizen by virtue of being a direct descendent of a Canadian citizen. They call it "citizenship by descent". Georgiana Desmarteau, Canadian by birth, was my Great-Great Grandmother. She's my ticket out of this shithole
