I've just switched from Windows to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. I have run Ubuntu as a daily driver before, last time a decade ago.
It's mostly a matter of mapping workflows across. In my case, I had a 70 TB media library, and reformatting the drives from NTFS to ext4 was a lot of work.
