Walter Trier, Zeichner u. Illustrator, langfristig berühmt durch seine Illustrationen in den Büchern von Erich Kästner. Die beiden verband eine tiefe Freundschaft. 1936 musste Trier als Jude Deutschland verlassen. Am 8. Juli 1951 starb er in Kanada.
