This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

for the record I'm not even saying that as a *bad* thing. Being bad at Linux is the norm, not the exception, and it's up to the people working on desktop Linux to try and improve that.
Some strides are being made, but ideology is *actively* hurting it.
