Sorry. I’m a huge Trump anti-fan but the USA cannot go bankrupt. It issues its own currency – $ – and the debt is in $. Also, the US government debt is the non-government surplus, most of which sits in the bank accounts of US citizens. So praise be for the national debt! #MMT
