If you lose everything in a disaster, FEMA shouldn’t cut your aid just because your community (family, friends, churches, etc.) stepped up to help. My bipartisan Don’t Penalize Victims Act will make sure survivors don’t get punished for accepting the donations they need to get back on their feet.
