There are a lot of reasons why Elon Musk's attempt to form the "America Party" is misguided. Entrenched parties, partisan voters, party infrastructure takes a while, when elections are competitive people are aware of the spoiler effect, etc etc.
But maybe the biggest is that there's just no demand
