I think it's a game mechanic joke! A Donut AoE is a large ring-shaped AoE, where the inner circle is safe (or alternatively, get out completely), so if you're raiding and someone calls out "Donut," you move accordingly. The joke is that there's an argument about what calling out "Donut" means.
