checking out zed editor again. seems like they finally fixed the dealbreaker issue for me where it didn't respect hard tabs being enabled (people who use 4 spaces instead of tabs are unwell, i'm sorry). also seems like so far the auto-complete for function/variable names is suuuuper fast now too :)
