This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

This is *exactly* what I remember wishing to hear when I was first involved in the design discussions for atproto's architecture in Jan 2023.
The atproto PDS' role is so well designed and the reference implementation so well done (thanks to @dholms.xyz and @divy.zone) that it came true!
