This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Nice to see excitement around the proposed html-in-canvas feature, but remember you can already put canvas behind/atop HTML elements.
The benefits of this new feature are:
➡️ Readbacks (eg sending to a VideoEncoder)
➡️ Showing HTML on non-planar shapes
➡️ Using shaders on HTML
