This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

I see this a lot, and folks who don't use Rust tend to get very stuck on it. I explained this 4-5 times to folks who walked up to our embedded world booth, so it's very very good to have a post like this to refer to.
