Honestly, I've worked with some engineers that are somehow in both groups. I'm sure it happens in the science world, but engineering skews *weirdly* conservative imo, esp in classic meche/ee disciplines.
I also can't comprehend how you'd manage to hold both beliefs at the same time, but it happens.
