This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

One of the big opinionated things that I did in postcard-rpc and am going to do for ergot:
Devices should be able to enumerate all their endpoints/methods/types etc.
Basically the same deal as swagger/openapi: Have an in-band method for asking "how do you want to be talked to?"
