I got a cheap stretchy knit nylon watch band for my old citizen watch to try it out for when my pebble time gets here, and it's super comfy. I've never really liked the silicone sport-watch style bands, and I've never found a band with a belt-buckle style clasp that wasn't too tight or too loose.
