I was going to joke that the C stands for "Clue," and that pressing it immediately starts a session of the classic board game Clue/Cluedo...but honestly, putting a dedicated hint button on a controller and calling it a Clue or "C" button is a very Nintendo thing to do. Super Guide, evolved.
