Semafor asks various media people what they got wrong in 2024. https://www.semafor.com/article/12/29/2024/the-things-we-got-wrong-in-2024 Many of those people framed the question as "what we failed to predict," or "didn't see coming," as against "where our judgment really misled us."
But even with that, these responses can be instructive.
