This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Yes! Works awesome in fact, and can decode 4K HEVC no problem.
Harder to do other formats beyond 1080p, though.
But the display has worked great, we even play TV on it through HDHomeRun too.
