This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

In reality not much.
In theory we could run our own servers and instance of bsky, federate it to the main servers, and then migrate ourselves to it. But everything we did would still replicate over to the main BlueSky so still make AWS money. Pointless.
All traffic makes Bezos richer.
