With Chinese hegemony an issue, this tariff level is punitive and could push Japan and Korea away when we need them. As for new BRICS 10% tariff, hope China (whose new total is 65%) doesn't retaliate and we're back to the situation a month ago. Consequences of these may force Trump to change again.
