Also how the game incentivizes parrying by giving you a huge HUGE advantage for doing it? When you parry you get extra AP and free damage from the counter. Dodging on the other hand gets you 1 extra AP if you've got Dodger (and of course every Perfect Dodge means you could have parried that)
