kagi is worth it. Try it out, maybe try the cheap plan, go back to google or ddg and then you can feel how nice kagi was and jump in. Everyone hates paying for search but then they try kagi and never go back.
I wish it was more accessible to non-first-world countries though. It's worth for tech ppl
