This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

There are many drawbacks, but the benefits are:
1. Super fast SQLite access. Everything local, no network.
2. Reduce blast radius*. 1 machine downtime is not 100% downtime.
3. Scale out.
* Availability of a single SQLite file still depends on a single machine.
