🏺 One of the few Cisalpine Celtic dedicatory inscriptions is written on a boulder in a tiny shelter at 2643 m a.s.l. in the Swiss Valais: ⟨poeninos | ieureu⟩ 'dedicated to Poeninos'. Poeninos – apparently a Celtic mountain deity – was also worshipped at other high-altitude sites in the Alps.
