This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

so @val.town now has a lot of database queries that we share throughout the application and i'm starting to miss activerecord. is everyone building their own 'model-like abstractions' or big shared query library, or is there a cool solution here?
