This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

And I'm seeing some signs of that #onhere. I'm not sure yet, but it looks to me like there might be subgroups that are trying to enforce a strict orthodoxy and a very narrow set of acceptable discourse. That's not too surprising with an invite system.
