This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Good write-up and I'd just like to add I think there is another side of this coin while companies evaluate the risk (as they should), they should also look into how they are going to support those projects they use (either with contributions or/and other resources - e.g. funding).
