This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

It was never both at the same time! It was very fast as a juvenile, but inescapable laws of biomechanics meant it slowed down as an adult. Mind you, everything it wanted to eat at that size was on the slower end too, for the same reasons, so this probably wasn't a problem.
