This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Definitely an LLM shaped problem. I used to use YNAB but I didn't find its accounting method to align with me. It wasn't always clear how to cleanly start with the credit card accounts.
I think hledger stored on the NAS with an LLM as the "SQL" layer would be great.
