This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

That's just not true, though. I remember grindig hub Grank monsters, and it would definitely take slightly longer than a modern game, but it's not unplayable. I had a lot of fun with it.
