This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

I think there's a presentation aspect that's just one of those "when you see it you know" kinda things.
A trailer and a flat out commercial tend to have very different vibes for me. Like a trailer won't be having selling-point text on screen but a commercial will.
