Let me just ask:
What if HMRC tells Angela Rayner she did indeed pay the correct Stamp Duty in Hove?
She had only a 25% stake in the house she put into Trust for her child. It was a court-mandated move, not tax avoidance. She only has partial use of it alongside her ex even as a parent.
