I honestly think the takeover of the global auto market by Chinese EV makers is one of those possibly unavoidable turns of history, rooted in:
1. China's need / desire to leapfrog the U.S.
2. China's willingness to absolutely wreck its environment with mining / refining in a way the U.S. won't
