- When Yoshi spits out a sprite, he copies his direction to it. But If his mouth is "empty" (sprite slot 255), his direction ends up copied to an unrelated sprite table.
- For certain Yoshi directions, the value written sets the "gives powerup" bit of the corrupted sprite
