This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Yes, I think 30 seconds is the standard.
(It gets even trickier if you're using an open source TOTP app on an airgapped system that doesn't have an internal clock. Now you have to go into the terminal and set the clock just so, lol.)
